As usual, I'm up for anything and all of the threads! o/ General "plans" so far:
Atsushi is leaving solely because he has a Mudkip. He's not having a good time, and is depressed that all the mysteries he tried to help with were solved while he was having a breakdown in a hospital storage room. He won't have any issues with camping, and once getting to Mango City, he'll probably try to get another boba shop job or enter contests if there are cash prizes. Going hard on investigating the radio tower and static because he needs to help and make an impact or he will never get out of his self-pitying funk. However, he'll be completely useless once the worst fear and nightmare things start. Like just cowering in a corner useless. He already hallucinates the person he fears most and this won't help.
Toki is staying, and he'll just hang around in Toran with Hana-chan, participating in shenanigans and whatnot. Fortunately, at this canon point, Toki hasn't made too many solid emotional connections and he's still dissociative as fuck. He purposefully forgets anything that upsets him and so his fears and nightmares are things like "responsibility" and "making decisions". He'll be fine and maybe even accidentally help fix it.
