1) Yes, if you were to app in a new character, they would wake up on Toran's shore. Luckily, there are boats that go in between the island and to Mango City's own shore so it'd be easy to hitch a ride to catch up with everyone! There aren't any time restrictions on apping in a second character so you can join with them whenever you like! It's only with your third character that you'd have to wait after one successful AC round that you could app them.
