Very strange ween woon with an equally strange ween woon way of looking at things, but one that Akira enjoys nonetheless. That one time in the Pokémon Center does not count, it was extenuating circumstances and Akira was unable to articulate or think anything more than "run" or "push him away" for all of it. Up until now it has been all fun and games and flirting with Akira's other self (who for the record is all for continuing to flirt), but something tells me that particular meeting is going to change their CR and take it in a deeper direction.
