i also want for her to learn not to define herself by her illness and that she is still capable of doing a bunch of things even if she's sick! and to make friends and be happy and eat whatever she wants and please... just help her think that she's actually worth something :'(

Offering: SUP LIARS. Theo can typically tell when someone's lying to him immediately, even if he literally just met and began talking with them. If you have a cagey character trying to hide their ~*true nature*~ or ~*sad backstory*~ and you'd like that to actually get brought out and dealt with, Theo's your man, so let me know if you're okay with him realizing when they're lying (and probably give me a poke in brackets when they do aha)! Note that he isn't likely to do any immediate callouts or anything, it would be a slower process, but he can absolutely call people out eventually if that's something you'd like to play out! He is here to drag you cagey people out of your bad habits and give you advice so you don't turn out like him.

Bottling your feelings like a fine wine is the way to go. Or maybe in her case it's more locking them in a box, haha. Either way, she's from 1986 so it might be fun if she's a bit ???? about the whole concept of Pokemon. But she'll definitely make them fight because it's fun.
That being said, I made an opt-out post because she's one of These Problematic Characters. It's very unlikely she'll bring up what's been going on back in her world before coming here in threads, but I absolutely understand if someone doesn't want their character to interact with her. That's what the opt-out post is for!
